Ok so I've been lurking around this forum for a few weeks and thought it was about time I said "Hi".
Well a bit about me... Got me first bike at 9 and have been riding ever since, 34 years. Got my fist street bike when I was 17, married at 25 and then my first kid cam along. The wife told me it was her and the kid or my bikes sooooo I sold off the street bikes but was allowed to keep the dirt toys. Hind sight being... I should have kept my bikes cuz she wound up leaving anyways. lol
Got back to street bikes 7 years ago and got a Vstar. Wify #2 told me life was short so GO AND GET YOUR BIKE. Hey like I"m the man of the house and when she said jump I RAN and got my bike. I then moved up to the R* cuz the vStar was just not made for 2 up riding. Last year I went and picked up a really cool bright red Kawi Drifter (old Indian Chief look) for my wife. She now rides next to me instead of behind me. WOW... I thought life was pretty good!
I get home one day and my wife tels me I should get the bike I always wanted. SSsssooooo 3 weeks ago I to traded in my 2004 Road Star Midnight Silverado for a vivid black (hey we ALL know black is fastest) Street Glide with cruise, abs and 103 stage 2. It's a May build so I guess I'll get it at the end of May or beginning of June. I'm getting pretty excited even thought I'm buried in about 4-5 feet of snow in Ottawa right now. Still not sure on the pipes I'll put on but once spring rolls around I'll take a listen and decide then.
Ok so I guess this is my long winded way of saying Hi everyone.

Welcome from Ottawa, CDN. I feel your pain as my latest addition to the stable (FLHX) will be build in April.......but then again, with all the snow I have no access to the shop.
