I'm new to this forum thing so I might not get it right for awhile. I am thinking of buying an 08 Street Glide and from articles on the new ABS brakes I have formed an opinion that they are a great feature. Do any members have actual on the road experiance? Let me know what you think.

See if you can an October 2007 issue of American Rider. They had a good article on the ABS. Don't have them but think they would definitely be worthwhile.
Just bought my 2008 SG on 12/29/07. It came standard with the cruise control, ABS and factory alarm system.Got about 2,800 miles on it so far and really love the cruise control and the ABS brakes. Have only had to lock up the brakes once and it convinced me they are a good idea. It's a little weird to feel the rear brake pedal go into ABS mode, but it works. I'm prejudiced in favorof the SG, but whatever touring bike you decide to go with, spend a little extra and get the ABS and the cruise control.
