I'm a new member and a relatively new Harley owner. I've built about every kind of japanese bike there is for over thirty years but a friend insisted I try a HD. So 17 grand and a heck of a lot of decisions later I own a 2004 Electra Glide Classic with 500 miles on it. I've put 450 miles on it in the three weeks I've had it and like it a lot so far. It is completely different than anything I've ever owned. It has power enough but, more importantly, it has road manners and rider "fit". Love the ride so far and gotta love that sound! I did put Screaming Eagle fishtail muffs on it right off the bat. Now I just need to find a reasonably priced shop manual for it!

Welcome to the forum.Since you just spent 17 grand on the scooter go ahead and invest another 50 bucks and buy the shop manual
