See this guy all the time at the local stealership that changes bikes like we change our socks, go figure! Now this guy has some real issues
I would say you are just HUMAN, and made a small error in judgement. NO BIG DEAL!!! Now go and get the bike that you WANT!!!

Thanks all of you that piped up and contributed. I have just committed to the, now £2.5K for the RK.. with the inevitable extras. (that's about £100 per person that responded on here with encouragement for me to make the move.. donations readily accepted!). So the RK is on it's way from Harley Europe (Belgium) to the local dealer. I guess I will be back on here in a few of weeks asking important questions about best after market pipes, best accessories, etc. Stand by!

No need to be embarrased. I had the same problem. I traded in a '09 Street Bob for an '09 Night Train. All I can say is I can not be any happier with my decision. Ive have the NT for 3 weeks, had the SB for 9mths. Ill soon have more miles on the NT in a shorter amount of time. Feel moe comfortable on the new bike. Just do it, you'll be happier in the long run.
