Greetings from the Great Northwest. I just spent 3 weeks of intense research on a new ride (out of the saddle for 20 years) and was 99% sure it was going to be a metric...a Suzuk C50 to be exact. The wife kept reminding me that for the past 28 years of our marriage I've always said "someday I'm getting a Harley". She dragged me down to the HD store, sat on a 883R and the "magic" happened. Put $ down and told the dealer I wanted the first 07 XL883R (orange) that he got in. Hoping that's just about 3 weeks from now. Decided on a HD because I've always wanted one, (I don't have an alter-ego to fill or anything like that), and the wife had a good point. That was if I bought the C50, within 1 year I'd be ticked for not getting what I've always wanted. I listened to her. Glad I found the forum, been reading for a couple days, lots of good stuff here.
