My father just bought a 2008 Ultra Peace Officer Edition, and well, his passion for motorcycles has been passed onto me. His dream of cruising father and son will soon turn to fruition as I am currently looking for a 03 or newer sportster 1200. I will be the first to admit that I know very little about motorcycles. I primarily stay in the muscle car scene. I hope to gain a lot of knowledge on this site and I will thank you in advance for your patience that you will need while answering my questions.
Here is are some pics of my 69 Dodge Charger R/T (cloned, we couldn't afford the real thing), it has been a father son project for the last 7 years, the floors, trunk, part of the frame, interior, engine and trans have been replaced. It still needs a rear end and disc brakes but thats for after college.
Welcome from Cape Breton Island, Have fun& Ride Safe
guess we know why it needs a rear end
It doesn't "need" a new rear end, I just want to put a thicker one in it because thats that R/Ts are suppose to have. Thats really the only time I have done a large burnout. I usually stay off of it. With 10 MPG Highway and 7 City, it kind of try to take it easy.
