I have been riding bikes for over 25 years and thought I would never be able to own a Harley. I finally made it on June 14, 2010. I traded my Yamaha Roadstar in and bought a '10 Ultra Classic Tri-Glide. The only problem I have is that on June 10th, I had rotator cuff surgery and I have not been able to ride much at all. She is sitting on the carport as encouragement for me to do my physical therapy so I can get her out on the road. So far, I have only been able to ride her 800 miles by doing short trips around town and a couple of very short runs on the nearby Natchez Trace Parkway. I called the dealer today to schedule my 1000 mile maintenance and since it is a 100 mile ride to get there I don't have much more riding I can do until that is due. So far I haven't been able to do any add-ons, but they will come in time. The dealer added a bumper and a tour pack rack, but that is it so far. I spent a couple of hours this afternoon looking at the J&P site drooling over "have to have that" items. Does anyone have a couple of thousand spare dollars? If so, send them to me and I will put them to good use....I will post pics to show you where your donations went! I am currently off work due to the shoulder surgery, but hope to return in 2 or 3 weeks. It is really driving me crazy sitting in the house....I am NOT one to sit around. My wife (Magnolia) is about ready for someone to come over and give her a ride. I seldom ride without her and she is having rider withdrawals. Any volunteers?

Congrats, my wife is the same way.. gotta have that daily ride or she gets grumpy..
