Currently own a motorcycle other than an HD. For now, I will withhold that because I'd rather be serious and avoid dumping on the brand or model, etc. I might be interested in the V-rod Muscle as I had the opportunity to really check it out this past weekend. I was surprised at the price being around 15K brand new. Besides the price, I was impressed by the brotherhood feel that I witnessed just being in the dealership. Does anyone here own the Muscle or can anyone provide some additional info such as likes/dislikes? Thanks!

Not my style, but actually love them. I've seen a few customs that looked literally out of this world! Welcome.

The Harley Demo truck was at my dealership last weekend so I figured I'd test ride the V-Rod Muscle. Always wondered how the engine performed. The lead rider made me ride right behind him on the 8 mile demo loop. Seems folks have a habit of trying to hammer on the V-Rod so he keeps it close by. Our route wouldn't let us get over 55 mph but I can tell you the engine is great. Smooth, great power and it revs. It's a shame the bikes haven't sold like Harley initially planned because the engine performance is really that good. The bike it's self rides fine. I'm 6' 0"" and the ergonomics are perfect for me. The bars put me leaning ever so slightly forward from being completely vertical in the saddle. Would make riding the bike at speed acceptable. The only other significant observation I can make about the bike is it takes more rider input to change your line or corner than on other Harley's. That wide *** back tire and the relatively stubby bars means the bike likes a higher effort of counter steer input into the bars to change directions. I'm not in the market for a cruiser but if I was the Muscle would be on my short list.
