Default Almost Crashed!!!!

Yep, the title says it all. I almost wrecked my 2008 GSXR 1000 last weekend doing 122 mph on a entrance ramp and decided this is it...time to move on. I now am in the process of picking up a 2008 FLHTP and starting the customizing process. I decided to go with a police bike for a few reasons. For one, it has the 103 motor in it which I really wanted. And second, it was way cheaper than a Electra Glide Standard. Hopefully I enjoy this Hog as much as I have enjoyed my crotch rocket over the years. Needless to say, I have not ridden that bike since the weekend before last. Thank god I got the crap scared out of me and didnt wipe out on the bike and destroy the bike and kill myself in the process. I live in the DC area and hope to be seeing and meeting some of you guys at the Rolling Thunder event in a few weeks.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy the ride instead of being taken for one 'cause sooner or later, you'll lose playing that game. Good luck with the new bike.

That was bordering on Darwinian.

Glad you've seen the light and continue to see it.

Enjoy your new ride and new laid back riding style.

lol...i think at that exact moment when i almost lost it, i was darwinian!! im glad i saw the light (and not the bright one at the end of the tunnel) and im really looking forward to it. for the longest time, I had guys telling me what I was missing and now i truly see what they are talking about. there is just so much more that can be taken in when you slow down and cruise. thanks for all the introductions.
