Hey! What's happening? Thought I'd take just a minute to introduce my wife & I. I started riding back in the late 60's
small honda's and whatever I could throw my leg over. In 72 I traded my 67 jeep for a well worn 48 Pan and fell in love.
I kept that bike for about 5 years and then the kids began to arrive. I stayed away until 1993 and found a 1982 Kaw which flew like hell. I remember riding down the Great River Road one lazy Saturday with my wife on the rear and being passed by a dresser with straight pipes. My wife said " Did you hear that? " I told her that I could catch him and spit him out! She tapped me on the shoulder and replied " Yeah but it's still not a Harley! " So began my quest for another Hog. I found a 87 Heritage which
I promptly stuck a ton of money in about '97. In '98 I crashed and nearly died. After 4 months in a hospital bed I finally recovered and again stayed away for 4 years. In 2002 I puchased a 02 V-Rod, which I still have, along with a 02 Sportster for my wife. In 2005 my wife bought a 2005 Deluxe which is bad ***. Recently I traded my 03 for a 07 Street Glide. Now I know that everybody's bitching about that new tranny but I'm enjoying the extra gear and power increase. This past summer my wife
and I rode to the Keys and back with a couple of friends. What a trip! This May we plan to go out West to the Grand Canyon.
I'm new to computers so don't be to radical with your replies. We live in O'fallon, Missouri. I hope I didn't bore the hell out of everyone. Later!
