Hello Hogs
New HD owner here... or, that will be true this Tuesday.
I'm buying a 2012 Ultra Classic... with ABS, Solid Black, adding a chrome luggage rack.
My '06 Honda VTX 1300R, that has been a great bike for the past years and 31K miles, is going away. I'd like to keep it...but that's not gonna happen.
The decision to try and buy one was after riding maybe 50 feet on a Limited last weekend... and then doing another 350+ miles from the free rental...and, my wife rode with me...her first time on a bike. She liked it!
I live in North Carolina, and travel between Lexington and Mooresville.
Tilley HD of Salisbury had to work out a trade with a dealer in Richmond, VA, and is fetching it tomorrow...could have been sooner but Hurricane Irene had to do her thing.
I'll pick it up Tuesday... looking forward to it, for sure.
