ejector nozzle

Default ejector nozzle
Howdy,

I am new here and had a question. I have a S&S Super "E" carb on my HD chopper and it started running like cr@p. I narrowed it down to my carb, and after I tore it down discovered that my ejector nozzle was clogged. I tried cleaning it but the slit in the nozzle is thinner than a piece of paper.

S&S only sells the ejector nozzle already installed in the float bowl @ $150 bucks plus.

Can anyone tell me what the ejector nozzle is for and is there a way of cleaning it?
