Welcome to the Forum from Land Between the Lakes Tennessee! Check with your local dealer, or online for lowering kits. There are several that are easy to install, and not too expensive. A lower seat would be a good investment too.

As far as the seat goes, there are a lot of them that drop you almost 2 inches. Is the bike still at the dealer? I think dealers are still doing the demo seat program. Tell'em what you are looking for and try out some seats. At the least it'll give you a better idea what you are looking for. Can try the classifieds on this site too.
