Hi all my name is Larry. I am faced with a difficult choice. I cant decide wich model to get. I am a huge fan of all harleys! I like them all . I am getting ready to buy my first one but cant decide which one to get i have tested them and like them all unfortunatly cant buy them all lol.I am short 5'7 so some scooters would have to be lowered. I like the shake of the Dyna family love the switchback.But i really like the looks of the Street Glide. I know i need bags but at times i dont want them. like the guages on the street glide but dont always want a fairing (want some bugs in the teeth every now and then lol)Mostly will be riding bye myself but might take trips with wife. I want a nimble fast bike but comfortable too. love the sound of carb but dont want to buy used .Been saving for years so dont want to make the wrong choice if there is one. Just thought i would ask people with experience for advice been driving the wife nuts about it.thanks for your time and advice.

 

Welcome to the HDF , yup you have to decide what you want ..... but get something that has a good amount of power which is best for 2 up riding and you want something that is comfortable solo or 2 up on long rides ...... Good luck !

 

Hey thanks. so far the scooters i am looking at are all 103" I will go with atleast stage 1 no matter the model love the loud rumble.

Welcome from sunny and hot as Oklahoma. I feel your pain on the decision. I love the shake and handling of the dynas but recently bought a fatboy and really like the smooth vibe with low center of gravity the 103 provides. Completely different, but both great. You might look at one of the softails for flexibility.
