Recently purchased 2012 street glide and want to change the OEM muffler. Was told by the dealer that if I install the Vance and Hines need to do some tuning. Any feedback
Thanks

Reason: Title
I have an 11 SG and was told the same thing when I purchased mine, it doesn't need to be done but it is recommended and if your doing the stage 1 you might as well do the air intake for a couple hundred more.
I ended up with V&H ovals, stage 1 and high flow air intake. The dealership worked with me on the stage 1 and air cleaner, I think I got both for somewhere around $375 and the V&H for around $600 but only because i had the internet price in hand when I went to buy my bike so they matched the price of the pipes and only charged labor to install.
Good luck
