I'm new,I got my first Harley almost 2 years ago in 2011. I ride a 2010 sportster 48 blacked out with 19"apes.i live in NY and enjoy the smaller lighter bike in the traffic,eventually want something bigger for long trips.

Why would the Harley dealer tell me NOT to do a coil relocation? I bought the 2" tank lift kit and the Roland sands coil relocation kit but Harley told me they wouldn't guarantee the work because it would vibrate too much and loosen the connections,I've seen a lot of bikes with this setup and didn't think it would be a problem. I've been told to go to a custom shop for this work.
