Almost every time I search the internet for information about my bike there's a link to this forum and the information here seems to be good for the most part. So I figured it might be a good idea to sign up here and learn more about these bikes.
I just picked up / bought my first Harley a couple weeks ago after a lifetime of riding bikes that sound like they're running soup cans for pistons. I made a fair deal on a mysterious red '14' SGS that the wife calls my mysterious red mistress. All I can say about that is I can ride the glide anytime I wana.
In the near future Im looking forward to modifying the bike so it runs and rides a little better and working out the factory installed quarks. An exhaust system and tuner will be one of next things to change. The seat already went for a ride in a another direction and was replaced by a Hammock and sissy bar. The seat made the bike way more rideable for my kids and me so its money well spent.
