Waiting for my new Night Rod Special to come in (three more lonnnnnng weeks - argh!) and thought I'd spend the time researching others' experiences so I'd get an idea of what to expect. These forums have been very helpful - there are things like the reach bars and seat that I wouldn't've thought of before delivery. I currently have two Sportsters and love 'em, but the husband has a Road King Classic and suggested the Night Rod for me -as a diversionary tactic to keep me off his pride and joy, I think!

Anyway, thanks for all the help you people have been already, and hopefully I'll be a useful contributer in the future... or at the very least a courteous and respectful participant.
