How many miles
#2
ummmmm....when they're worn out?????
Seriously,...soooooo many variables.........
On my '15, with an average mix of riding, ( solo, two up and freighted, long distance runs, around town throttle twisting), I got 19,000 out of the stocker Dunlops and they weren't completely shot yet.... then I ran acouple of sets of Dunlop American Elites with better handling and similar mileage results....my '17 has 16K on the stockers and they are getting close...probably need sneakers in a couple weeks.... loved my Metzlers, but 10K on a rear was a gift!.....hope this helps.... There's no way of giving you a useful reply to an open question like that. I've just replaced the tyres on two bikes, not because they are worn out, but they are all around 7-8 years old. Mileage in that case doesn't matter! If you ride mostly highway miles the centres of your tyres, expecially the rear, will square off and wear more. That can reduce mileage, but also introduce rear-steer, due to the wear pattern, which is when I change the rear.
In addition, riding, braking style can significantly influence tyre mileage, as well as brand. Furthermore, you don't mention the year and model of your bike, or tyre brand.
