Default 06 Road King wheel to 97

Hi, so im hoping to get some knowledge on what is required to put this beautiful wheel on my 97 Roady.
Im concerned about the rotors not fitting as some have said. I also want to know if I can use a reducing bushing for the axle?

Your new rotors are larger in OD than your stock ones and will not fit inside your current calipers. As your bike is an Evo I recommend you visit the Evo section, where you will find other members who have swapped wheels around. I have later wheels on my 1990 Glide, but made other upgrades to use later calipers with the later rotors.

Thanks guys, yeah I knew the outside diameter was the same, I actually laid it on top of the old one to see the differences. The contact area of the 06 rotor is less than the contact area of the 97. My calipers will ride outside the contact surface of the 06 rotors. There are cut outs on the inside of the rotor. This area is what im concerned about because the pads will be riding over those cut outs.
