I work with a guy who has Michelin Scorcher series on his 2011 Dyna Super Glide. He has over 10,000 and they still look great. Not new but still lots of life left.

Just installed the Michelin Commanders on my bike today. Hope to take it for a spin tomorrow and see how they feel.

I installed them about a month ago. They have a rounder profile than the stock Dunlops. It took me about a week to get used to how sensitive they are. It was hard to hold a line on the road in the begininng. It could be because I had a large flat spot on the old tires though! Damn the interstate... All is good after you get used to them.

I only have about 500 miles on them so I can't speak to tread life. They are super stabile in turns though.

I have the rear only right now. My Dunlop was pretty bald, so anything would have been an improvement. I pushed them hard enough to drag my pegs and they felt great and no waiver in confidence. Also had them in the rain a couple of times and no problems. Hopefully will do the front soon.

The one negative is the width. They are more rounded which is great for handling, but they are narrower by quite a bit than others. My Dunlop measured about 6" for a 150. The original stickier Dunlop is at 6.25" and the Avon is at 6.3". The Michelin only measures 5-5/8". It's definitely noticeable. If you want the tire for looks, go elsewhere. If you are more concerned about handling and mileage, buy it. I love the tire , but regret buying it for this reason. If I had to do it again, I would probably spend the extra money on the Avon. Probably handles as well, less mileage, but 3/4" wider to fill the fender.
