Go to the eBay resolution center. Start a case. They will give you and the seller a chance to work it out. If not, you can upgrade the case and eBay will make a decision. If the ad says they will fit and they don't, eBay will give you a refund, ask you to send them the rims and then go after the seller. It has happened to me a couple of times and eBay has always made good.

RCC will be able to tell you what bikes your wheels will fit, however I agree that you should use Ebay to resolve this. Do it quick, as delay looks bad, you have a limited time in which to act.

I don't see how ebay is going to (or can) protect a purchaser in this situation. He may have hit buy-it-now or bid on an auction and won but since he picked up in person and paid for in cash, how will ebay protect that? Heck as far as they're concerned they have no idea whether the transaction was ever finalized.

have you talked with customer service at RCC? I bet they would be more than willing to lend a hand in the respect of at least telling you what they'll fit by measuring the bolt patterns so you can get rid of them if needed.

If he doesn't ask Ebay he may never know! Well worth the effort IMHO, as a long running Ebay user.Originally Posted by UltraNutZ

file a claim with ebay, have done it before and if nothing else will give you peace of mind. if they were supposed to fit your bike and don't, you have a legitimate claim. also don't forget negative feedback, and anything else you can do to get the word out on the seller, maybe even post his user id here and tell everyone to avoid
good luck
