I disconnected the front and rear o2 sensor connectors instead of removing them as it's easier. The front runs along the front under the voltage regulator. The rear goes under the seat. Have to be gentle with it but I slid the connector through the access hole towards the top on the left side of the compartment.

I loosened the bracket nuts to the pipe, and removed the bracket from the bike instead of the pipe.

Next comes the exhaust.

These caps have o rings which also weren't supplied with the kit. They are a pain to remove, and I would suggest having touch up paint on hand, and wrapping a screw driver with electrical tape. They pry out.

I didn't remove the air filter first as instructed because it wasn't blocking any fastness. Remove these 3 Allen heads and be careful not to tear the gasket cause I did not recieve a new one.

I disconnected the wiring at the neck in front of the tank. Pain in the ass to remove all those wire harnesses but that's the way I did it

Remove the console, 3 Allen heads, top two have washers that are quite easy to loose. Disconnect the connectors and set aside

First, I pulled the seat and battery. My order of doing things may not be identical as in the manual either by the way

1000 times better than that ugly fuckin tan color. At least in my opinion. I haven't heard a single person say they like the tan color

After tightening the vice until your flat stock bend is where you want it, you should have something like this. On this piece, the bend area is wider due to spacing of the flat stock in the vice. You can make tighter bends if desired or place it in a vice longways, heat it with a torch, and while guiding it with channel locks, gently apply pressure to the vice, and tighten the bend area. Hope this makes sense.

Next position the piece to be bent in a vice like so. Depending on how much of a bend you want, you might have to put 2 pieces on each side. I found that 2 pieces on each side created a bend that fit my fender perfectly.

To create a bend, first cut a couple extra pieces of stock

I bought the kuryakin skeleton mirrors. They looked cool but after a while went to shit. They would come loose on the highway.

I fabricated these out of flat stock and had em painted. Ran it for about 12,000 miles then switched to the great bike gear setup.

Again, this is strictly a visual reference, I would never make something this sloppy for my or anyone else's bike. When you cut the teeth, you just want to cut enough to let the flat stock bend, the larger the gaps, the less surface area for the led strips to adhere to.
