My 11" shocks should be here today, and I'm about to go finish my tank lift today as well.
Regular shocks, not the heavy duty. I weigh in at about 195-200, so I figured the HD's would be way too stiff for me. .
Amazing the difference. Really is. They should come like this from the factory.
All I need to do now is get that stupid trim thing off the battery cover and do something else there, and get those front turn signal stems cut down. I hate the MoCo's relocation kit for those front turn signals. Retarded looking. That's one thing I wouldn't buy if I had it to do over again.

My Low Rider is stiff alone (160 lbs) but with the wifey's 110 lbs. it's better.
BTW. They look much better.
How much did it lower the bike?

where'dya get that fork bag?
I've never seen another like it. I've been bugging him to find me a small to medium matching color roll bag to go on the luggage rack for short day rides, but as of yet, no luck. If anybody knows a source for a roll back in that color, I'd sure appreciate the info.
Nach, the shocks are 11 inch 412 progressives.
Gamma 742, I'd say it really lowered it a good couple inches. The shocks are only one and a half inches shorter than stock, but figure in the frame geometry, and I think it lowered it considerably more than that.
I managed to get in a couple hundred miles this afternoon, and I'm pleased with it. I really wouldn't call the ride quality a sacrifice type thing at all. More like a trade than a sacrifice. The overall ride on average road is a definite improvement. Like super smooth, but it is a bit sharper on the occasional major bump like pavement transfers. Has to be a pretty good bang for it to get very sharp though. The handling is a big improvement, and I really like the lower seat height and center of gravity.
I've still got a couple of things to work out. Lowering the seat height put the top of the windshield right in my line of site so I've either got to cut it down, or something, and I need to adjust the headlight as it is pointing too high now.
