They are so much more comfortable to ride in
I wear Wrangler 31MWZ cowboy cut relaxed fit with 38 leg for ridin (horses and bikes). They give you more room everywhere too, but I'm definitely gonna look into these gussets they look great.
How tall are you guys? I'm 5/10 and wear a 30" inseam. Ya'll must be about 6-8 or better. My daughter has a cousin in law that's 6-10 damned doors ain't but 6-8
