Default Solo Mustang & Sundowner Seat Comparison

Stock Solo Seat vs. Mustang and HD Sundowner Seats on a 07 SB
I’m 5-10 and weigh in at 240 lbs with a 30” inseam.

My Conclusion:

So far for me the HD Sundowner Solo Seat worked the best.
The seat moved me up so I had to move my windshield up.
My feet still rest flat (just dose) when I’m at a stop.
I enjoy seating lower like on the stock seat but my comfort
rules over looks in this case. The Sundowner is comfortable
right out of the box. Long ride this morning went just fine.

The Solo Mustang moved me to far back on my SB.
I put 10,000 miles on a Mustang seat on my last bike and loved it.

The sock solo seat looks the best and worked fine for a few short miles.
It just didn’t hold up to my “wide load”.

I like the looks of the Mustang solo much better........
Matter of fact I seen your pictures and that's what made me order one.....
You say the Mustang actually set you back??....More than stock....
Well I like that.....I'm 6 foot with mids and highway pegs.......sounds like it will be perfect...
I've had mustang seats on my Nomad for all 7 years
Always thought it was the best for my ***.....LOL
I can ride in that saddle alllllllll day long
I hope the Mustang coming for my Bob is half as good
Thanks for the great pictures for sure !!!!!!

Yep, if I was 6’ tall or had mid controls I would have kept the Solo Mustang Seat.
I may send the Solo Sundowner out for a mod so I sit lower like I prefer.

Follow up 6-10:
After putting few hundred miles on my new Solo HD Sundowner Seat
I’m going to send it out to http://www.meancitycycles.com/ and have
it custom fit to my needs. I finally realized sitting up so high made the
bike top heavy and uncomfortable to handle in the turns. The stock seat
is nice and low so I get the ride in instead of the ride on feel.
More later on when I get the mod done on the Sundowner.

Someday I might get this right, if not the stock seat stays.
