Haven't posted much lately, took a few pics today and thought I'd share.
Harley heel rests. Took a while to get them adjusted just right but once adjusted they really are comfortable and look pretty decent too.
New headlite mount that moves the lite out a bit. Chrome allen bolt, cap and acorn nut from Ace Hdwe.Like the look and it sure makes it easier to get to the lower tree for cleaning.
New air cleaner cover and battery cover trim. The inner ring on the A/C cover is the original headlite trim. Funny thing. Got my bike dyno tuned last year and it ran great. Added BCT baffles and started getting a littlepopping on decel. Wasn't willing to spend three fifty for another dyno tune so decided to live with it. The trim extends down over the filter a bit restricting airflow a little and the popping went away.
Skull mirrors. Little too much chrome to go with the blacked out levers so I blacked out some of the trim on the mirrors.
Got the bright idea to polish out some scratches on the windshield today with 2000 grit and soapy water. Left it real hazy looking, thankfully I was able to restore it with Meguires clear coat polish, but it took a lot of rubbing. Don't recommend you try this.
I know, not very Bobbish anymore but it works for me.
Thanks to all of you on the HDF. I spend so much time here you're like family.
Used the same post/bracket for my headlight with some of those visors on my turnsignals, and was thinking of moving 'em down to the forks - good to see what they look like there - thanks for the pics!
