I thought I wanted to buy a new bike. After seeing the pricing and the money I would lose I decided to transform my 05 Ultra. The UPS man will be busy. Thanks to this forum I decided on a new 21” front and 18” rear wheels, 13” single sided disc with 6 piston caliper. New lowers and 1” drop, Arnott air ride rear suspension, street glide front and rear fenders, hidden antenna, C&C fastback seat, detachable tour pak (got to keep the wife happy she would kill me if she lost her couch), street glide rear grab bar, 95” HQ build. If I keep reading this forum who knows what else maybe a 6spd.
Ultra/Street Glide update. Yesterday I removed the duel disc, 11/16” master cylinder, front wheel, fender, forks and replaced the lowers with chrome single sided disc (mounting tabs for the right caliper was removed and smoothed). Today I’ll remove the rear fender, bag guards, grab bar, tour pak supports, and the wheel. Also have an appointment to meet with the painter to shoot the new front and rear fenders.
PM or post if you need anything. Looks like you'll be busy for some time now.
Grats on doing the work yourself, you'll even appreciate your scoot more after doing so.
It is cheaper to keep her, upgrade like you are doing. My problem is that I get bored with my cars, motorcycles etc....I am always looking for something new after 8 moths to a year or I have to have it attitudethen once I have it it does not matter anymore after a while.

Thanks UltraKla$$ic, I don’t paint so I’ll take a hit on that cost.
