So now I'm on an 07 fatboy and I'd like a bit more room forward on the right floorboard. I'm between the Kuryakyn E-Z Brake, Kuryakyn extended brake pedal, and the Harley extended reach billet brake lever. Could anyone advise which would be the best bet to maximize forward foot movement, or ya think I'll be happy with any of them. I would appreciate any input. Thanks,
I went with the E-Z Brake and the MK IV Cruise arms. The brake doesn't allow your boot underneath the pedal, your heel stays on the floorboard for EZ braking and the cruise arms let me keep my heel on the floorboard and rest the boot toes out and up. I am only 5'-10" and 30" inseam. Works great and is very comfortable and keeps my foot within quick and ez access to the brake.I can also rest my arches on the arms forhighway cruisingor even throw my heels over them if I scooch up a little in the saddle. FYI - also opt for the extended billet EZ shift levers. My left foot really appreciates the extra room. Just an ol' bears opinion. Ride safe!!
I haven't done the brake and shift levers yet. But do enjoy the Mark IV's. As mentioned above a great way to extend your legs. So you may want to consider IV's as well.
I intalled the ness 3" extensions. They're advertised for forward controls but work just as well with floorboards. Only caution with these is that you won't be able to install crash bars. So I put on granpa's highway bars and the combo works well for me. I'm 6' and felt cramped with the stock setup.
Here is what I did, I got the extended rider floorboards from HD (made for the touring bikes only but are the same thing on the softails)P/N 50409-04 they also work with crash bars by the way, and then the HD extended break pedel P/N 42640-03. The extended rider floorboards move the entire floorboard forward 2" so you can stretch out more ( I have a 32 inch inseam) without having to break the bank (the are $79.00) I also have the Kuryakyn MK III highway pegs so I can put my heels on the boards and toes on the highway pegs or put my entire foot up there. I have also just recenty gotten the floorboard spacer kit from Harley goodies (Forum sponsor) which move the floorboards away from the bike 3/4 of an inch. They were $50 plus S/H. They are really nice stainless steel and now I can use the entire floorboard with out having the break pedel or the shifter arms get in the way at all. With all of this done, I can put my feet anywhere I want at any time I want and be comfortable. I know it sounds like alot to do but the extended rider floorboards take about 30 min to replace the old pans, the break pedel takes about 10 min to do (replace it when the right floorboard is off so you can combine things making them easier) and the floorboard spacers take about 20 min. so in all have about an hours worth of work and you could put your feet anywhere. Just a word of advice though, the Kury MK III mounts are not designed to work with the extended rider pans, I had to drill new holes in the reinforcement plate to make them work, but that was not hard at all. If anyone has any questions just let me know and Ill provide pics.
Hey Thad. Here is a link to thepost for the board extenders that are mentioned below. https://www.hdforums.com/m_2446192/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#2446192 These will bring your boards out by about 1-1/4" - read the reviews on my site. Best ride you ever had or your money-back. Tom

I will get you pics some time tomarrow (friday) after work. Just a little more info on what I have done, the extended rider floorboards that HD sells are the stock looking "D" shaped floorboards that come on a Fatboy or a Herritage. The only differance is where they weld the mounting brackets to the bottom of the board. They mount them further back, which pushes the floorboard forward. They only way to tell that they are on the bike is to see the relationship to the break pedal and the shifter levers. My shifter levers are the stock length ones but are the ones that match the break pedel. I would like to get an ez shifter for the toe shifter though, the pics will show why tomarrow. But in reality, they dont need to be replaced to work well.

Chris I also have the Mark III's and also have the Harley Goodies floorboard spacer kit coming.
I think it should help the Mark III's by getting them out from behind the shifter and brake pads.
I'm glad to here you are happy with yours.
