Hey guys, trying to get a Keys ride setup for after the first of they year. Plan on heading down on a saturday, staying overnight and heading back the next day. I'm tentatively thinking Jan 26th. Anyone interested?
Jeremy,we all talked about a keys run at the rally and there seemed to be alot of intrest and everyone agreed it was a run down one day and back the next because there really is no ride once you get down there. Probably later in Jan is best ror me. Count me in. Sorry you missed Ocala, it was a good one!!!
Kimbo, I've been looking at the pics from the Rally and I'm sorry I missed it. The toy run the wife and I did has become an annual tradition for us though so I still had a good weekend. I'm shooting for the end of January for the Keys, I have a buddy who may fly down from Kentucky and rent a bike to go with us. He needs a vacation bad!
Count me in, if you want I'll start checking into possible places we can stay, based on the time of year, I would guess we could get 15 to 20 interested.
There is a group of use heading down from Michigan to go to the Bike bash in Jupiter for the week before and after the weekend of the 26th. We were planning on riding down to the Keys sometime again this year. Last years trip was nice. Nothing like riding in shorts in the high 80s when it is below zero at home. Heres a pick just on the other side of Marathon last year.
Kimbo, if you want to price some places to stay thats great. I don't care what type of place it is, I just want to ride down to key west ain't worried about the accomidations.
Charley, thanks for the compliment, we'll definetly make the key ride happen.
Hummmm...........just got a heads up from cHarley about this (I mostly just hang out in the Sportster section of HDforums). End of January weather usually SUCKS here in Nashville. This might just hafta be a road trip!! What part of KY is the friend in? If I can make the trip, he can ride down with me from Nashville, or meet in Chatanooga if he's from the eastern part of KY.
