Major Face Lift for my Deluxe (20 pic update and Video! - 1/13/08)
I started to change my Deluxe over last month and have completed some work.
On the list to do was new tires/wheels - a 21/18 combo that I wanted to make, complete with rotors and pulley. Black out most chrome. Paint for fenders and tanks (oil tank included). <-- Colors will be HOK Brandywine and black, with silver accents. Lots of parts out for gloss black powdwercoat. I also blacked out my Thunderheader, except for the tip. Need to order chrome heat shields to finish it off. Black Nash Gimp Hangers will finish off this build segment, 16".
Waiting on paint to come in the next week or two. I will post pics of that when I get them back on.
I just finished up wheels and went with the black anodized look and machined the wheels after anodize to give it that contrasting look. Decided to leave the machine marks in the aluminum, I think it shows some design aspect to it. A friend of mine drew up the 7 spoke wheel and added some details to it to make it unique. I drew it in CAD and machined the design.
Absolutely striking work! I think most of us look on in awe on your machining work. I buy parts, and
if I'm fortunate, put them on. You make them. You have a great talent. Can't wait to see it all put back together.

Thanks. This is what I do. Ask me to invest in the stock market or throw a football, and you'll see my weaknesses! [8D]
