+3....Had the same issue. The baffle reduced it by about 80%. Barely noticeable now.
The baffle is pretty inexpensive and goes on in about 10 minutes. You have a choice of chrome or black. Just make sure to run a thread tap in the 2 mounting holes to remove the paint from them.
I recall it's a 1/4 " X 20 tap. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken.

According to our local service manager, that is MOCO's reasoning for no longer putting them on as standard equipment.I think they still put them on the Road Glides. My guess would be that they stopped putting them on as standard equipment to save money.
