Screamin' Eagle Pro EFI Super Tuner
This is a synopsis of the new Tuner, just announced at the Winter Dealer Meeting....
"...completely new design that makes tuning easier through dozens of new features and innovative enhancements. Compatible with Windows XP and Vista.
....The new VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) allows USB connectivity to your PC and contains on board memory for a full 15 minutes of data recording, tracking up to 26 data variables. Data recording is conveniently activated with a push of a button, allowing the VCI to be taken to trhe track to gather data during race true conditions.
... ability to work in 4 windows (tables) at one time, and enhanced help tools..... Data and tuning functions are combined into one single application, insuring you are only 2 clicks away from any major tuning function. With a click of a button, the new software automatically connects to the internet and updates to the most current version as well as retrieves the newest calibrations developed by professional Screamin' Eagle calibrators. Software contains built-in model recognition that filters calibrations, listing those that are applicable to your model........."
Hope that this helps people understand the new tuner kit..... I have seen it, and it is a nice tool.... looking forward to getting one real soon (February availability).....

Thanks Bob....I'm looking forward to it too. Again thanks for all your insite on the tuner. I'll post your thread over on the Vtwin Forum for the people there that are chopping at the bit for more info on it.

Hey Bob, thanks for keeping us posted on this, have you heard what the cost will be for the new unit?, also will the internet files be available to the average Joe or is this something that can only be had by a HD dealer?Any chance the new tuner will allow you to reset the adaptive fuel values without the Digital tech?

Considering the SERT in its current state is remniscent of applications I saw back in 1996, this is good to hear. I like the product, but, it's so antiquated in its GUI/peripherals that it's almost embarrasing. They should do like most other applications do and let current SERT owners upgrade to the Super Tuner for a fraction of the cost of purchasing. But, that would be HD counter-intuitive now, wouldn't it?

Whiffleboy...that's pretty much the case with most EFI systems. What is considered the best EFI system in the dragracing world (Motec) is still running on DOS...lol.
