I have had it awhile, but it has been sitting in my garage for half that time. It came from softbrake inc.. There is some light marking from use, but it is not scratching. The only scratch is maybe 1/8" long and it is on the bend of the arm.
regarding 1" lowering brackets, I have an 07 flhrci, will they fit and will they lower my bike without any other hardware. If so, how much to send to toronto,Cnd. via U.S. Postal. I was under the impression that you can't use lowering brackets with the leather hard bags as the bags are contoured around the shock. Thanks

I was at the dealer yesterday and looked at the shock mounts on the '08 touring and they apear to be identical to mine. This leads me to beleive that they would fit on an '07. You need to make a slight modification to the rubber mounts on you bags bottoms. You need to move these mounts 3/4" of an inch closer to the bike. All that is required to do this is some new rivots. These pictures show the mounts moved on my bike. Shipped to Canada add $10, so $75 shipped.
I checked my clearence between my bags and the rails and I only have 1/2", so I can't move the rubber mounts. Guess I'll have to spend the bucks and get the 12" shocks. Thanks anyway
Well someone has stated firm interest in them, but you don't need shocks. clearance between bars and bags(between the two underneath is what i understand you were referring to) is irrelavant. The purpose of move the rubber mounts is to slide the buttom of the bag futher away from the bike, hense you need to move the mount closer to the bike, not closer to the bag.
