Default Dyno Tune = Popping?

Before

4th gear/front: max power = 70.32 & max torque = 77.53

After

4th gear/front: max power = 73.66 & max torque = 79.37

They also gave me a second chart:

5th gear/front: max power = 74.61 & max torque = 80.56

There is no before and after, so I'm assuming its after.
There is also no digital value for the A/F Ration, but according to the graph, it appears to be right at or slightly below the baseline value.
I also got a digital copy of the map (.MT6)

The whole event only took 1.5 hours. The guy has been doing dyno at this place for the last 5 years. I have a common setup. Is an hour an a half typical for an experienced tech on a bike with a common setup and no other issues?

Also, how should I feel about the numbers? Are they good/bad/typical/bull$hit?

Obviously I know very little about the process or the results. I can say that I noticed a difference when I got on it afterward and I don't think it is my imagination.

One last thing: I watched for a brief period and I thought I was gonna have a stroke every time he did the run up to WOT. At least now I know I cannot hurt this engine myself.

Any input from those more savvy than I am about all this, please chime in.

THANKS!

PS - Cost was $295.00

Those are very good numbers for what I'm guessing is a stock bike with an after market air intake and exhaust. Thats the going rate here in new Jersey.
I got about the same numbers on my 06 FXDBI.Without trying to find my dyno print out I think my A/F was 13.5 to 1 .
Enjoy the new HP.

Hd Sob you are right on my numbers. I had a bit more torque probably because I have the quiet baffles installed.

74.42hp
84.81Torque

Those about the same I got in 2006 with drilled pipes, K&N full flow, and TFI. The numbers look realistic.

I didn't notice the tag line below your sig pic. Your numbers are pretty decent I think. I've got an 06 with SE A/C K&N, PCIII, and Cycle Shack slips. My numbers were 77 & 77. I dropped my bike off at the dealer today to get it remapped with the V&H Big Radius. I'll post those numbers although I'm sure the torque will drop.

BTW, Cycle Shacks are good performing and good sounding slips if anyone's thinking about getting some.

Default RE: Dyno Tune = Decel Popping?

Got Dyno Tuned yesterday. Today had a chance to ride around awhile on surface streets, lots of stop and go riding. Sonofabitch! This thing STILL pops on decel?!?! WTF??? I thought a Dyno Tune was the sure-cure for that? That's it, I give up...

does pop mean backfire?

tuned bikes with aftermarket pipes and a/c will pop, burble, growl, ratatat, all that on decel, the harder the decel the more grumbling, but not backfire-
