Default Found ideal(for me) Road King bars...10" rise, 32" spread

HD part # 56079-93....polished stainless....54 bucks.

I absolutely love the additional rise!...It's perfect.....they are the same width, but turn out slightly at thegrips compared to stock.

I'll post better pics in AM when it's daylight.

1.5 hour install.......all cables and wires fit fine....the brake hose fit but had no slack left.

I'll replace the grips tomorrow.

Yoda, glad to see you found the bars youhave been looking for. Do you find that the 56079-93 have enough pull-back? I too am looking for something with both more rise and pull-back. I am 6 feet and tired of huntching over to reach my bars. I plan on installing a Sundowner RKC 2-up seat with whatever bars I put on. What seat do you have? Looking forward to your photos....Steve

P.S. I am retired Chief Qualified Submariner (USS CAVALLA 1983)

Cavalla? I suffered 4 years on Flying Fish, another 637 class SSN like Cavalla.....Nah, it was fun!...... Peed my name in the snow at the North Pole while riding that bitch....retired MMCS(SS)

These bars don't offer additional pullback, but you can tilt them back at you quite a bit if you require less reach....I installed mine straight up aligned with fork downtubes.

I'm running as saddlemen solo at the moment....My C&C solo is hard but it sets me back 2" farther from the bars.....The Saddlemen is not only more comfortable, but I prefer my butt closer to the bars.

Thanks for the info YODA. I am up for the rise of the bars you mentioned but I am also looking foradditional pull-back as well. I want that E-Z boy feeling while using my backrest. Last weekend I sat on an 08 King with a Sundowner 2-Up and 12 Inch Chubby Apes. Can't remember if they were Wild 1's but the configuration felt great. I like the idea of not having to replace cables like you. Frickinmods are baggin the $$$$ out me. It's like an itch I can't stop......Help me Nuse!!!!!!!!!

By the way, I was an air breathing, mattress grabbin, meal eattinrider SPOOK CTTC(SS)...I was a qualified projector operator (That has to count for someting).....

I shared plenty of recycled farts with you spooks all thru the cold war.....Sometimes we had so much spook gear on board there was no room for my **** collection.....You guys are not right in the head-you know that, don't you?

But hey, you gotta admit, the stuff we did was fun even if we can't yet tell our kids.

You are right, it was a good run. The Big BEAR was a formidable opponent and some of the skipper I rode with had huge COJONES butevery trip I was on we remained undetected. One of my many fond momories was on the FLASHER when one of the QMs put up a map in OPS middle level. He would move apin aroundon the map to show the crew our current location. We would move the pin 5000 miles in a different direction just to mess with the guys that answered the bells. I know, that's just wrong. But hey, we were bored when we weren't at PD.

Last year I did the same bars andthe samealignment with the forks.I'm shrinking like older folks do (damit) and down to about 6'1'" now with a 34" inseam. These Dyna wide-glide bars work perfect for me with a Mustang solo on an '07 RK.

EDIT: bunch of "bubble-heads" (STG)
