First, this forum is great! I've been doing a ton of reading but I'd like to do an idiot check before I proceed. Here's what I have:
2008 FLHX Street Glide stock motor
64985-07A Screaming Eagle slip ons
29253-08 Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather A/C
32107-01L ESI Race Tuner
Tuning Mode Software Ver. 4.7.7
By the looks of it, I want to use: Calibration # 100: 2008 Touring Exhaust with O2 SensorsConfiguration: 1580 SE A/C & Race ExhaustFile Name: 200TL001-A0.MT6Components:• SE Air Cleaner and Breather Kit P/N 29440-99C• Race Exhaust
If the above is correct, is there any major tuning I need to do after loading? If it runs poorly, I have no problem taking it in for a dyno tune but if it runs OK, do I have to worry any further about heat/temp issues? Or am I good to go?
Another option you may want to consider is asking Mike at Latus if he has a MAP for your setup. They sell MAPS for different setups, $50.00. I purchaseda MAPon the recommendation of others here and I am very satisfied with the results. Again its another option, certainly not a custom tune performed by a knowledgeable tuner, but I would think it should be better than the canned #100 MAP. Looks like you have everything I used except I do not see you listcables.Cable should be 32108-06, please double check this is correct.
