Mine stays level, but a wooden wedge under the jiffy stand works great.

I think a 2 x 4 under the jiffy stand sufficiently levels the bike to check fluids.

Anybody disagree?

"For pre-ride inspection, with the motorcycle leaning on jiffy stand on level ground, oil should register on dipstick between arrows when engine is cold. DO not add oil to bring the level to the FULL mark on a cold engine."

Cold engine=center of add/full. Hot engine=dot on full side of stick.
