Nice - i wrestled with the air-cleaner myself but opted for the round cover on the end... mainly on a price front. Yours does look good though, you've got me reconsidering.

Would you mind me asking the price for the seat and whre you got it from? I find my **** goes numb on (where your cheeks press against the seat curve up to the pillion seat on the badlander) after about 2-3 hours. Your seat with that curve lsmoothed away looks to remove that issue... does it?

The seat is from LePera (www.lepera.com). It's called the "King Cobra". I paid $315 for it, and bought it through the local shop here. Last night was my first ride on it. My initial impression is that I'm going to get rid of my Badlander. I've only been on it for an hour. I'm hoping to go for a long ride this weekend (8 hours) to see how it holds up. I also have a Sundowner that I bolt on for long trips, and I can ride in that seat all day - the King Cobra is only going to be for short rides.

I thought the Badlander was the cat's *** until I tried this - even the material is different.

When you buy this seat, it comes with the hardware to attach to the rear fender, but you need your own 1/4" x 28 screw (my HD seats have the built-in spring screw in the bracket, and so couldn't be used).
