Nuvi 200 Mounted on Streetglide w/pics
i tried it with the mount it came with, the suction cup held just fine for the hour i used it, but it vibrated like a mother fuc**r under 2200 rpm's.
pardon my bike its filthy [sm=smiley16.gif]
1. you cant see it thru the windshield

2. doesnt take up much space

3. doesnt stick out much at all, should be pretty much protected from the elements.

4. just used some strong velcro that came with my ez-pass to hold it on.

and

and it doesntblock much of your field of vision.

all in all its a 2 minute install. also the nuvi 200 is on sale for 169.99 at best buy and circuit city at the moment. the zumos and tomtom rider granted are betterunits but this is a cheaper alternative if you wont be using it much and just want peice of mind.
So you just plug it into the 12v cigarette outlet?
It doesn't hit the tank when you tuirn to the left and park it?
Of course if it falls off at speed it could be trouble.

texas fatboy it is plugged into the cigarette lighter and yes it will just hit the tank when you lock the fork so you have to unplug it.
so far i rode about 200 miles with it and no problems yet, but it is distracting as hell, i cant stop looking at it.
