07 Spark Plug Pinging/Loose Change Sound HD Software Fix

I had this problem. If the loose change noise is apparent when you "gun" the throttle, you need to know about this download. All 07's need to have this HD download.&nbsp\\; I found out about this download from another member of this forum, and when I took it to the dealership, he confirmed that the loose change -spark plug pinging - is a COMMON problem with 07s and all require this software download...this is a warranty issue........This software recalibrates the 07's ECM. The HD software download part number is 32903-07E..the name of the part is ECM CALIBRATION PROD PROG 0903. This is a free download....

I am trying to pm the several who asked about this part. PM for me is not working that well. All they do is plug into the port underneath your seat and it takes about 5-10 minutes. I instantly lost the rattling sound.

My guess is that you take it in and the tech can see if you have it already installed. If you have that change sound, I doubt if you have it. My bike was built in November of 06. It did not have the software upgrade. If I recall, the upgrade was not even issued until April of 07 (I could be wrong about that).
