Was a great ride today Naz. My first time riding the scoot in Rolling Thunder. Being an old Vet I really got a kick out of it. We left out of Laurel, Maryland and had volunteers from the Anne Arundel County Police Motorcycle Unit and the University of Maryland Police Motorcycle Unit escort us down. What a great ride and thanks to those escorts. Dudes were pretty cool to. I didn't even know the U of Md had a cycle unit! I rode with the U S Military Vets Western Md as a guest. What a straight up bunch.

It was a great ride today. Left with the group from Frederick Harley, think they estimated about 1500-1800 riders. This was my first time ever going to Rolling Thunder and definitely wont be my last. They weather was great, I got a little too much sun waiting for the parade. Finally found some shade in the North lot along the river after getting the special LEO treatment from one of the Pentagon's finest and got outta the south lot to the north lot. I could not believe all the bikes, one officer told me they have never filled all the lots like they did today, maybe record attendance.
