I have the Shortshots too, and I thought they didn't sound very good.
I bought the V&H quiet baffles for them and that was the ticket. It gave them a deeper sound, but they still bark when you open it up.
It doesn't really quiet it down too much, it just changes the tone to a much better one IMO. It has the deep rumble.
I think the cops will leave me alone when I'm behaving...when I hammer it, that will be a different story!

I have been wondering when someone would put that style tank emblem on a BoB .... looks as good as I thought it would. Nice bike .... enjoy the seat!!

It's looking good! I bet that is feels much better than the stock. I like the blacked out AC & battery covers.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the seat is more comfortable than the stock seat. And I won the `61 tank emblems on Ebay a few weeks ago. I was born in `61, so...
