Default tourpak removed and installed Kuryakyn turn signals

Well we really got motivated this past weekend and removed the tourpak and associated junk that goes with it and installed the quick detach kits. A friend of mine gave me a luggage rack off a road king and it fit right on the same mounts where the tourpak goes. Nice bonus. We installed quick connections on the speaker and tourpak wiring and relocated the antenna under the fairing using an Auto Zone amplified antenna. It seems to pick up just as good as with the whip.

We also installed the Kuryakyn turn signals to get more of the streetglide look. I think we met our goal. I purchased a Screamin Eagle seat from a board member here. It has a snake skin pattern and so far on some 200 mile trips it has felt just fine and looks great!!

If you have any questions feel free to ask. I love this hobby! Puttin my chrome lowers and floating rotors on tomorrow.

Looks good, very nice.

Thats what I would like to do as well. I want the tour pack, but want to make it so I can have the pack, the sissy bar or nothing at all on there. I want it to be as simple as possible to put any of the three on too.

Where did you put the antenna in the fairing? Can you post a link to the antenna you used? I would like to do that even without the pack installed and get rid of the one in the back.

I found it here. You will not find it in the store. They can order it for you if you find a decent salesperson or you can get it online. I mounted it on top of the radio next to the XM antenna.

I also ordered a few extra pins just in case though my girlfriend had no problems. She is an electrical chick my trade so that helps. We made the connections under the seat. She made them right where the two studs stick up which falls where a cavity is under the seat. So far no problems.
