Default PCIII I am impressed now

I put on about 450 miles this weekend after dialing in my PCIII. Fuel/moto pre mapped it for me and it was better but not quite what I wanted, which is OK because every bike is different. I downloaded the accelerator pump and got the throttle response I wanted from that. Then I went to the timing table and put in an advance curve based on my riding style. We rode 2 up all weekend. I no longer feel like downshifting in 5th to pass, I just roll on the throttle and it comes alive. I got 36 mile to the gallon on the first tank and 38 on the second coming home. I used to get about 41 riding alone so I didn't give up much there considering I checked it this time riding two people and all our gear. My bike feels like it has TQ everywhere now. I'm going to do some more research on the timing so I know what I can get away with there. If any of you guys are running rineharts, filter and a commander and you want to try my map I will be happy to email it to you. If you don't like it you can always put your old map in. I'm sold on this PCIII

I just ordered a PCIII from fuelmoto today. Hope I'm as satisfied with it as you are.

Send me the map if you don't mind. Mine was set up by Fuelmoto and I have not adjusted anything on it yet. It runs well but I would not mind more TQ if available.

Thanks

Yeah, I love my PC3, and just downloaded the Accelerator Pump gizmo. I'd love to hear what you have it tuned at.

The accel pump feature doesn't effect the map. It works like a carburetor. Basically what it does is let you add more fuel when you twist the throttle. You have sensitivity increase-----fuel increase----engine revolutions if you have ever messed with an old holley carb then you remember it had a little arm on the bottom that was linked to the throttle. It pushed up on the accelerator pump when you moved the throttle or gas pedal. Then you would see fuel shooting out the top of the carburetor. They do this on carburetors to help the transition from the idle circuits to the main circuits to keep the motor running smoothly so it doesn't starve for fuel. Now you can change the CAM size on the arm of the holley thats linked to the accel pump. Essentially what that cam does is control the RATE of how much fuel gets shot into the carb as you push down the gas pedal. What we are doing is adjusting the cam size when we change the SENSITIVITY and FUEL INCREASE. Then the engine revolutions determines how much of that fuel will be destributed at a certain rate as to not over fuel the motor.

I like a sensitive throttle with no dead spots. I can twist my throttle as fast as I want and the motor never coughs. Go to your bike and when its warned up just wack the throttle real fast about 6 times. No need to crack it open very far but you'll notice that on the 3rd or 4th wack the bike MIGHT couh a little trying to keep up with you. This accel pump will fix that. Plus it helps for smoother acceleration from a stop light etc. I don't ride hard so I want all my performance down low.

I set mine at 95% sensitivity (The higher the number the less you have to turn the grip to get response)

15% fuel ( just adds more fuel )

15 revolutions also try 20 ( the higher the number means your motor has MORE TIME to react to the extra fuel)
