Default what's the smallest DSP?

I'm patiently waiting for the Arc DSP but always looking for other options.

Crossovers would be nice as I like to play with the slopes but if it comes down to it, I can handle only using the amp to set the Crossover (using a CC-1 so can dial it in exactly, just not the slope).

I'd REALLY like an EQ though, I don't think I could live without that option (has the JL FiX been flashed for EQ yet? I know it was in the works but haven't revisited that in a while).

I like the Kenwood 998 because I can set everything up perfectly, I just hate having to reach up and touch the unit to search for my music and the display isn't the best either. The stock head unit is just so much easier to work with for me but the sound is night and day difference compared to the 998.

I could probably fit a FiX but I'm thinking only if I cut up a glove box which isn't that big of a deal as I never use them anyway.

Anyone have any ideas or you going to tell me to wait on the Arc?

If you want small.....wait for the arc or the fosgate, neither will be out for a while. How do you have your amps in the fairing?? You have a RG you can fit any DSP in there, the JL Twk88, the DD one, etc. The most honest advice I can give u us that if you want THAT level of control you have to compromise space and that might mean different amps or different amp locations to get that level of audio on your bike. What you then have to consider is making these changes worth having an EQ?

Yeah, have a TM400x2 against the fairing bracket under the radio then another TM400x2 on top of the head light. Power and ground distribution blocks in each cubbie but thinking i can relocate the ground block to free up a cubbie (Arc and Fosgate would fit in there for sure).

I'm looking at 8's for the bags, keeping them locked so the wife uses only the Tour Pak and so far it's worked out well. When/if I do that I'll have to replace the TM400x2 on top of the headlight with a 4 channel amp to run the Tour Pak and bags as I'd really prefer to only run 2 amps and a DSP.

Just planning ahead, I'm enjoying what I have right now so waiting isn't as bad as it was when I started this insanity

Before you get any new amps or 8's drop me a note. I'll be home for good next week and have 3 weeks to finish three Daytona builds!! The vids should be awesome. Lots of neat stuff waiting for me. Also I wouldnt toss the idea of using 3 amps.

Lol Bates. I know since having a little one this past Oct riding time this year will be at a premium, so I'm gonna try to build the best system i can (with some BAL help) since I'll be home more (and nothing wrong with that). I'm another one waiting patiently for the Arc or Fosgate or ?. What ever will work best

I've looked at it carefully before but wasn't too thrilled with the specs. Size and integration possibility into an existing amp chassis is great but again specs held me back on this one. Especially when you compare it to the others available currently and forthcoming.

^ all of that. They've been around for quite sometime and it's usually the budget car enthusiast who have used them.
