4"or 6" Risers on fatboy lo
#21
Just installed the 4" risers and they worked great. It took longer to straighten the handlebar out then it took to install the risers. Total time was about 1Hr. But It was worth it. Payed $ 145.00 for the risers and installed them myself. Alot cheaper then the Street slammer. Parts for the Street slammers $750.00 and 1050.00 in labor. They said the labor is so high because of the ABS.

Hi
I replaced the risers on My 2011 FB Lo to the 4" pullback risers & didnt need to change any cables or wiring.
The 4" didn't give Me enough so I went for the 6" pullback risers & only had to replace My brake-line & have the ABS reset, the wiring was looped under the tank I just cut the cable tie & they reached no worries, the clutch cable I just re routed it & the Throttle cables are fine.

I original wanted the Street Slammer, but then saw you post about the Wild 1 Chubby WO501 8" Pullback and not having to replace any cable, wires, brake lines on the ABS Model? Is that true All I need is the handlebars.
Sorry, I never changed bars except on a 2010 Iron 883 and didn't have to change a thing for drag bars. Anything else that I should I know?

I ordered stainless steel bolts and I'm just going to cut the head off and then used to nuts to lock everything into place

I'm wondering if you think will be enough clearance with my fairing
[QUOTE=08Fatty;7543619]I put the 6" one on mine without changing cables or lengthening the wires. I did have to move the throttle and brake cables to the out side of the bars. And take the strap of off the brake cable under the steering neck. I put the strap back on an run a zip-tie through it loosely around the brake cable. No more reaching for the bars and getting the ache in

Do the risers hit the dash

I was wondering if the risers hit the dash when you turn the bars I was told they do

do you still have the 6 inch risers and if so do you want to sell them also I was wondering if the six inch risers bunt the dash at all when turning or when parked somebody else said they had that complaint
