Default Setback Risers

2011 FatBoy Lo
How far can move my bars back before I have to start worring about changing cables and brake lines.
Looking at a set of 2" rise 4" setback risers.
Just wondering if it will work before I get in the middle of install and then relise I need cables and lines.
Thanks

You might be ok all round but I am not sure about the brake line. That could be all that needs changing. I know guys have gone with the 4" pullback risers with no problem but going with a 6" might be a stretch. I was going to go that route but decided that I really liked the new bars on the 2012 Fatboys. So I ordered some today.

You can pretty much plan on changing the brake line. Everything else might be OK because you are moving it all closer to the source.

I thought about doing the 4" risers too... but it turns out you'll really only get about 1" of pullback from them. That just wasn't enough for me. Those stock bars needed to come way back. If you're looking for pullback, I'd recommend saving a little more money and getting some bars that really come back and sit you up straighter. I went with the Wild1Chubby's. They gave me 14.4" of pullback and I couldn't be happier. Obviously you'll have to change out all the cables, but I guarantee you'll be happier!

Thanks all for the info.
Need to wait until I get home in 2 weeks and see just how far I need to come back.
Right now I'm offshore in Russia.
The best way to see how far I need to come back is:
Sit on the bike like I would be riding, reach out and let somebody measure how far my hands are from the bars?
That should tell me how much setback I need?
Rise would be if I need to go up?
