I am working on installing a set of 4" risers that have a 1" pull back on my bike. Is it necessary to purchase a longer brake line or any anything else in order to install these?
It depends on what size risers you currently have as well as what type of bars you have. You swapping bars too? I went from 2" straight risers & buckhorns to 4 1/2" pullbacks and drag bars and had to buy a shorter brake line.
Need more info.
After mocking everything up I have none everything is tight. Way to tight
I used the stock clutch cable with 16" apes.
If you want to save some $, pull your clutch cable off the downtube and (if you have forwards) run it over the shift bracket, it is long enough then. Only need new brake line.
Oh, I think the clutch cable is entwined in the triple trees, get it out of there too, gives you a lot more room.
