Default FatBoy Lo turn signal removal

Alright I bought a set of Alloy Art turn signals for both front and rear of my 15 Lo. Looking at the manual it says the front signals are hard wired to the switch. I believe the turn signal connector going to the bars is under the tank. Am I correct? If so can I just cut the wires coming out of the switch to remove the turn signals or is there a way to get them out of the switch's? Any help would be great.

My Lo is an 11, but I unplugged the rear OEM turn signals and removed them. I then cut the wires to the fronts and soldered on the wires for the Motogadget m-Blaze bar end signals. Other than performing an initial reset by running the hazards for a few minutes, I haven't had any issues with fast blink, codes, etc.

This video was with my initial set-up with Custom Dynamics integrated turn signal, but after being unhappy with the quality of the plastic in the lens material, I removed and simply went with a BAL programmable.

EDIT: Note to self... QUIT TAKING VIDEOS IN PORTRAIT MODE!!!!!
